It is long overdue that I write about my one great food love: herring. The new season started in June and to my joy the New Herring (Hollandse Nieuwe) can be obtained in Berlin as well!
I love Korean cuisine. I actually discovered this in Berlin, where Korean restaurants are plentiful. And I hope I get to visit the country some time, so that I can taste the most authentic versions of the barbecues, bibimbap, and of course, kimchi. Summer has arrived in Berlin and there is an abundance of delicious fruit in the city´s shops and markets. The times where we had to content ourselves with apples and bananas in the morning are behind us and we can fill our fridge with strawberries, mangos, peaches, and apricots instead.
Ever since she basically lived next to it for four months, my sister and I go back to our favourite Punjabi restaurant every time we´re in London. I spent one of the best holidays ever in Peru two years ago. I fell in love with that country: the people, the nature, and especially the cuisine.
